Serving Tennis has a strong reputation as a community tennis provider, working together with key partners such as:
- Local Authorities including Hampshire County, New Forest District, Totton & Eling Town Council, Eastleigh Borough and Southampton City Councils
- Local Schools - links with other 60 schools in the areas we cover
- National Governing Body - accredited for Clubmark and Beacon status with British Tennis
- Specialist Schools - working with children with specific needs
Key areas of community outreach include:
- Schools Programme - Curriculum coaching, after-school clubs, PPA Cover, Festivals and inter-school competition
- Accessible / Disability Tennis - varied of programme of activities working with children and adults with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, hearing / visual impairment and emotional behaviour difficulties
- Providing Tennis Activity Stands in shopping centres, at special events and at fayres / fêtes
- Running Open Days with activities including ball machine, speed gun, coaching tasters and much more
- Working with Community Groups including the Variety Club, Scouts, Guides, etc.
- Running Fundraising Days for local and national charities
Our community work is delivered by professionally-qualified coaches and is often provided for free. Funding for this kind of activity is difficult to obtain and thus we are always keen to talk to commercial partners about Fundraising and Sponsorship.
