
Accessible Tennis is available at both the Totton & Eling and Fleming Park Tennis Centres, providing opportunities for participants with a variety of disabilities, including hearing & visual impairment, physical, learning and emotional behaviour. Adapted Tennis is provided to take account of the disability, including specialised courts, balls and nets.
Working is association with partners such as Hampshire County Council, Deaf.F, SONUS, Toynbee VI Unit, local specialist schools and more, a varied programme of indoor and outdoor tennis sessions can be offered.
Coaches are trained specifically in delivering accessible tennis opportunities and have a wide variety of experiences in dealing with children and adults with disabilities. Sessions are fun and engaging and provide a valuable learning experience.
Coaching sessions can be provided either at the local club, or on a school / community centre site.
